For my Capstone assignments at Fox News, I created concept key art, animation explorations, and storyboards for an upcoming Fox Nation Lockerbie Bombing documentary, as well as a rebrand imagination for the current FNC show 'The Story With Martha MacCallum'.
I developed two visual directions for the Lockerbie film: one cinematic approach that interpreted the explosion through environmental context such as time of day, weather, and sound design cues, and another graphic approach using a crumbling parallax effect where archival photos rapidly appear to highlight key moments of the story. These concepts helped explore potential visual identities and motion styles for the documentary’s promotional and opening sequences.
(COMING SOON!) I also developed concept directions for a show highlight package for The Story with Martha MacCallum, working within Fox News’ existing brand guidelines and visual system. One direction refined the current broadcast style into a cleaner, more minimal 3D news aesthetic to create stronger cohesion with other Fox News platform graphics. A second, more experimental approach used bright colors, duotones, and textured visuals to introduce the show in a more expressive way, furthermore highlighting MacCallum’s key guests, major moments, and culminating in a refreshed logo reveal.
